The world's largest three Yuan rubber plant put into operation
In December 12th, Sinopec and Mitsui chemical jointly announced: in jointly founded by both Shanghai Sinopec Mitsui elastomer Co. Ltd. (SSME), the world's largest EPT (three EPDM) device formally put into production. EPT is a superior weather resistance, ozone resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, electrical properties and chemical resistant synthetic rubber, widelyused in auto parts, wire and cable and other industrial products. SSME is located in ShanghaiChemical Industrial Zone, in 2012 May by China Petrochemical and Mitsui Chemicals joint venture construction, both sides shares more than 50% each.The registered capital of the joint venture company of about 630000000 yuan,the total project investment of about 2000000000 yuan, the main business scope is the production of EPT, sales and technical service.
