Shenzhen Qiyu latest reports: Thailand rubber production will increase
According to foreign news in December 25th, the agricultural economy in Thailand office said, Thailand is expected to 2014/15 annual rice production will decline by 8.2%, to 33800000 tons; planting area of material is reduced by 6.2%, to 72400000 rai (11600000 hectares). Rice planting area will reduce this means that the area will grow rubber increases, the rapid development also promote local latex tube, silicone tube, rubber tube industry.
The main reservoir water supply reduction and price decline is expected to cause yield season rice decreased by 31%, to 6700000 tons.
Thailand 2014/15 annual sugar production is expected to decline 8.5% to 10370000 tons; sugar cane production declining by 0.6%, to 1.031 tonnes, due to delay of rainfall effect on sugarcane growth.
Rubber production expected to increase by 2.6%, to 4430000 tons, because of tapping area increased by 5.9%.
