Reasons for the decline of natural rubber production in India in May
According to New Delhi June 10th news, India rubber Bureau (Board Rubber) released data show that India May natural rubber production over the same period last year decreased by 48000 to 9.4% tons.
Data show that India May rubber consumption increased by 84000 to 2.4% tons.
In the year ended March 31st, the total natural rubber production in India was reduced from 15.4% to 655000 tons, due to heavy rainfall and yield of the main producing areas.
India domestic output reduction and global market rubber prices lower make India silicone rubber tube manufacturers to increase imports.
The government of India in April will be natural rubber import tariffs and 20% to 25%, to boost the domestic demand for silicone rubber tube manufacturers.
From the above can be seen natural rubber production decline, but consumption can see the silicone tube and latex tube industry did not enter the off-season.
